From the flowers and leaves of Marjorana hortensis
Uses: Decongestant, expectorant, helps expel excess gas (flatulence), relieves muscle pain and spasm, antiarthritic, calms and soothes the nerves, supports brain health, relieves painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea), circulatory stimulant, antineuralgic (anti nerve pain), encourages sleep, relieves anxiety, sedating (antipain), decreases overactive sex drive, and lowers blood pressure.
• Decongestant, expectorant, brain health, sleep, anxiety, sedating, sex drive, blood pressure, circulatory stimulant: Inhale using a cool mist diffuser by adding 8 to 12 drops per one cup (8 ounce) of distilled water (start with 8 drops to test the strength); on a tissue or handkerchief by adding 1 to 2 drops; or sniff from the bottle. Inhale for 30 to 45 minutes daily or as needed. • Flatulence, dysmenorrhea, antineuralgic, muscle pain and spasm, arthritis, sedating: Dilute 30 drops per teaspoon of carrier oil such as extra virgin coconut oil and apply directly on the affected area; or use 1 drop for every 20 kg of body weight directly on the affected area. • Sleep, anxiety: Follow the dilution ratio above or apply directly at the back of the neck (nape) and on the center of the thumb (at the back of the nail). For direct application, use only 1 drop for every 20 kg of body weight.
